Born in Brazil and based in Barcelona, Tom14 combines the best of both worlds. He is a street artist in more than one way. He works on the streets, sometimes literally, but his work also deals with the rights of the street. It’s all about reclaiming the streets from real estate investors who make large profits from their urban planning projects but do nothing about improving the situation for the locals.
“We live in a city that puts tourists first,” says Tom14, who takes getting this message out there very seriously. “I see it as a duty to transmit what I think. To use our power of language, so that we can tell people what’s going on.” Part 2 of 3 Pretty Cool People Interviews with creators from Barcelona, Spain.
