Geek Get-Together Ahoy!

We spent yesterday growing brain cells at a post-digital geek fest about a few of our favourite things: from a fan-powered Madonna music video to bottom-up buildings in Deustchland, crowd-sourcing, collaboration and participation were the order of the day. We particularly enjoyed the illicit thrill of critiquing the speakers via Twitter as Tweets were projected in real time onto giant screens flanking said speakers! Naughty naughty (but handy for crowd-sourcing iPhone chargers in the nick of time). Back to the matter at hand though: outstanding highlights were the beautiful and inspiring Sochi project and the closing speech by cool geek and all-round special person Chris O’Shea.
