Firestarters Files: Behind the Scenes at Submarine

Firestarters Files is a documentary series about exploring the changes in how mobile technology is being used across the world. For their fifth episode, they joined Submarine Channel’s Bruno Felix at last year’s Playgrounds Festival in Amsterdam, to discuss a little about how the festival has become an unmissable chance for studios, filmmakers and visual effects artists to share stories, valuable insights, work and ideas. Firestarters also joined Submarine Channel behind the scenes at our office in Amsterdam to take a closer look at the work on Last Hijack Interactive, the recent interactive documentary that explores the hijacking of a ship in Somalia from the unique viewpoints of the different parties involved.

Fire Starters by Vodafone explores how the digital world is changing creative industries.
