Excessive amounts of make-up were used to create the face paint animations for this music video for We Have Band, created by W+K’s creative team and Blinkink director David Wilson.  “Each and every frame was hand-painted, shot, wiped off and redrawn, slightly differently for the next frame in order to create a seamless sequence.” The result is A+, which goes to show that it is possible to create stunning visuals on a very low budget. There’s also a very nice Making Of video on YouTube that takes you through the entire production process. Now why can’t they do that for every music promo? Haven’t had enough?
