  • '2Pause - Freezing Music Video Culture' is our fierce selection of 100+ of the most original and innovative music videos (2006 - now). Music vids on 2Pause are organized around five themes: 'Netherclips' (made in Holland), 'Electric Cinema' (cinematographic music videos), 'Sonic Animation' (animated videos), No/Lo Budget, 'French Wave' (the best from France) and 'Stop! Motion' (Stop Motion animation). Clips were selected on the basis of visual and conceptual qualities and originality. New videos will be added every week!

  • Good news for all you folks who believe that paper books are old technology, our DVD "Modern Living - The Graphic Universe of Han Hoogerbrugge" is now available without the book! This DVD (Mac/PC/DVD player compatible), designed and authored by Hoogerbrugge himself, features over 60 minutes of his works, including short films, animations, music videos, art works and commissioned works. It comes in a nice Hoogerbrugge-illustrated cardboard DVD box and will be available as of tomorrow.

  • The web is emerging as an another alternative platform for high quality title design. An indication of a promising future for title design beyond the movies? Have a look at the first main title created for a web series that really made an impression on us, '13' made by Superfad. We had a chat with creative director Rob Rugan. Also new: the stop-motion animated opening and end credit sequence by Suspect for a short film titled The Wilde Ones.

  • From 15 Jan-28 Feb, 2010, MU and SubmarineChannel will be spotlighting the phenomenon of film titles. The exhibition brings together more than 30 very different and more or less well-known creative film titles. There will also present a special evening program on February 26.
