Project: Forget the Film, Watch the Titles in film
'Lucio' is a documentary about the legendary forger Lucio Urtubia, a.k.a.
'The Basque Zorro'. The titles are noteworthy for the following 3
reasons: 1) they conjure up the atmosphere of a thriller, not a
documentary; 2) this is Spanish motion designer Unai Geurra's debut as a film
title designer (Forget the Film supports promising title designers); 3)
Guerra used the original forgeries from the master himself for the
credit sequence. The "making of" story reads a bit like a thriller in
itself.
